When FTL fits
A full load or the need for a dedicated journey may be reasons to discuss FTL. Tight time windows or specific goods requirements can also make combining loads less suitable.
When groupage fits
Smaller shipments can sometimes share a journey. This requires compatible routes, product conditions, capacity and collection and delivery times.
Price is not just per pallet
Distance, time windows, temperature, weight and space requirements affect the quote. Groupage is not automatically the cheapest or fastest option for every shipment.
Compare using the same details
Send the same product and route details for both options. Indicate where there is flexibility. Operations can then assess suitable options on a comparable basis.
