Do not just name the country
The German destination may be close to the border or further away. A postcode and full address enable a specific route assessment.
References and receiving
Ask the receiver for appointment numbers, dock instructions and time windows. Share the contact person available for questions.
Recurring flow
For multiple journeys, state preferred days, frequency and expected volumes. Fixed departure days are not assumed from a single enquiry.
Documents and goods
Describe the chilled or frozen product, temperature, pallets and weight. Discuss additional documentation requirements in advance. Return journeys or part loads depend on the specific schedule.
