What temperature is needed for frozen transport?

For quick-frozen food, the general product temperature is −18 °C or below. The refrigeration unit setting follows from the product specification and transport agreement: air temperature and product temperature are not the same. Provide the required transport conditions in advance and ensure goods are offered in the agreed state.

Ask the customer or sender for the correct transport instructions. Record the required condition and any additional requirements before the journey is confirmed.

The equipment temperature setting and measured product temperature are different data. Agree what information is needed at loading and unloading.

Coordination at handover

The condition of goods at loading, packaging and handover duration may matter. Describe special loading and unloading instructions and designate a contact person.
